Welcome to the
"Living Room"

1 John 3:2 AMP

Beloved, we are [even here and] now children of God, and it is not yet made clear what we will be [after His coming]. We know that when He comes and is revealed, we will [as His children] be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is [in all His glory].

GUIDELINES FOR WEBSITE

Hey guys! It's so good to have us all post on the website. Let’s hear and respond to one another – some great postings and comments are well worth reading. Takes time, yes, but we build relationships and connect with each other as we do.

Here are some guidelines that would REALLY help as we navigate and help create a structure for one another and for His glorious Spirit.

  • Please post your revelation in the right place – there are different categories. If you need help with this, talk to Shawn Cho.  She’s a genius!

    • Can you post Prayer requests, testimonies, AND EVERYTHING ELSE on TribeTalk, please? Thank you!

    • No asking for money or fundraising.

    • We really honor all of those who have fed into our spiritual lives, but here, we want to stay focused on the revelation and instruction that God is unfolding right here and right now with us. So please do not post other people’s teachings on the TR website.

GUIDELINES FOR CALLS:

    • ONLY share what you have experienced on TODAY’S CALL. Can we remind you again that everything else (including personal prayer requests) should be posted in Tribe Talk?

    • Ask the Lord: Is what I’ve received for me, or all of us, or both? Then, if it's for everyone (or both), ask whether or not it should be shared. See if it fits the flow of what the Holy Spirit is doing.  This can take a learning curve, and we’ll bear with one another while we’re learning. When needed, leadership or facilitators will step in and redirect – this is done, as best we know how, in love and service.

    • Being CONCISE, PRECISE, and FOCUSED is a skill we all need to try to CULTIVATE.  It's best to aim for between 3 and 5 minutes.

    • Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit is a skill that can be learned! It increases with intimacy practiced, but we’re all learning. In what we’re saying, we all need to be sensitive to His flow. We want to move with Him – speak when He’s speaking, pause when He pauses.

    • Turn your revelation into a decree, declaration, or impartation when you can.

    • Facilitators can call on the leadership team at any point or can call on others with connecting pieces.

    • The leadership team has the responsibility to steward the meeting by interjecting, teaching, instructing, imparting, or redirecting at any point they feel is necessary.

We will end between 8:00 and 8:30 am EST.

GUIDELINES

The purpose of our guidelines is to protect the flow of the Holy Spirit. We are to do things decently and in order, but God’s order and man’s order are two very different things. Jesus defines God’s order for us in John 3:8: The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so is everyone who has been born of the Spirit.” – John 3:8, NASB.

This reveals that God’s order has to do with the flow of the Holy Spirit, rather than only externals. The flow of the Holy Spirit is precisely and divinely ordered, but because His thoughts and ways are higher than man's mind, it sometimes appears chaotic (like “in the beginning”).

The wind is ordered, but it is not rigid or inflexible like the law. We are not here to teach people how to follow rules. Any religious institution can do that. We do need guidelines, but overly focusing on external laws and regulations rather than focusing on the frequency and the flow (or lack of flow) of the Holy Spirit will only serve to create a religious structure (shame/pride, fear, and control).
We are called to help sons grow to maturity, which means our job is to help them learn to be led by the Holy Spirit.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are (mature) sons of God. (Romans 8:14)

In essence, our job is to help people become sensitive to the Holy Spirit and each other. This is a manifestation of the greatest commandment to love God and to love others as we love ourselves. Some people are so fragmented, demonized, or carnal/immature / flesh-driven that they cannot discern when the Holy Spirit is flowing and when He is not (Sampson). But Jesus knew that virtue had flowed out of Him (in other words, He felt the outflow and reception of God’s Spirit into and through Him). We will have to help people discern when their words are anointed and when they are in the flow, which is better caught than taught.
Our instructions are to help us help them, not to GRIEVE the Holy Spirit by allowing people to operate lawlessly or selfishly in our midst, or to dominate or derail the flow of the call. We must simultaneously refuse to allow the guidelines to QUENCH the Holy Spirit, shutting down something that He is doing or releasing. So, our guidelines must be Spirit-led.
We will always have growing pains IF WE ARE GROWING. Dealing with them individually, proactively, and by the Spirit (rather than relying only on rules) is part of “patiently teaching.” OUR JOB AS LEADERS OF TEKHELET RESTORED IS TO BECOME SKILLED AT FOLLOWING AND FACILITATING THE FLOW OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND TO TEACH OTHERS TO DO THE SAME.
